Can I export transfers, charges and discharges of charges from Prolegis to be uploaded into Teraview?

You can export the information from Prolegis in a format that can be uploaded directly into the Teraview eReg tool. The information entered into Prolegis is organised in a way that you create an eReg Transfer, Charge and Discharge export file

  • Before accessing the Teraview eReg tool, the Conveyancer should complete their data entry. At a minimum, the data entry in the Actions > Property > Titles, Actions > Property > APS and Actions > Seller/Buyer should be completed. If creating a Charge, the data entry in Actions > New Mortgages should be completed. If creating a Discharge, the data entry in the Actions > Existing Mortgages should be completed.
  • The ability to create the eReg export file can be accessed from the Actions Menu > Teraview Export. 

  • To create an export, click +Instrument.

Charge

  • For a Charge Type eReg export, the relevant information from Prolegis will automatically be included in the eReg export. For Instrument Type, the Conveyancer will select Charge / Mortgage.
  • The Conveyancer will then select the Lender the Charge applies to.
  • The Conveyance can select the Insurance statement (Full insurable value or See standard mortgage terms).
  • If there are additional terms, the Additional Charge Terms can be copy and pasted into the Additional Charge Terms field.
  • The Conveyancer should confirm that the pre-populated information in the Property and Client File windows are correct. Party Indicator is the Party submitting the Charge for registration.
  • When complete click “Save” or to cancel click “Cancel”.

Discharge of Charge

  • For a Discharge Type eReg export, the relevant information from Prolegis will automatically be included in the eReg export. For Instrument Type, the Conveyancer will select Discharge of Charge.
  • The Conveyancer will then select the Registration Number.*
  • The Conveyancer will select the Affected Property Portion (A, P or N).
  • The Conveyancer should confirm that the pre-populated information in the Property and Client File windows are correct. Party Indicator is the Party submitting the Charge for registration.
  • When complete click “Save” or to cancel click “Cancel”.

Transfer

  • For a Transfer Type eReg export, the relevant information from Prolegis will automatically be included in the eReg export. For Instrument Type, the Conveyancer will select Transfer.
  • The Conveyancer should confirm that the pre-populated information in the Property and Client File windows are correct. Consideration is the consideration paid for the Property. This completes the Cash Amount and Purchase Price Amount in the export. Party Indicator is the Party submitting the Charge for registration.
  • When complete click “Save” or to cancel click “Cancel”. 

Creation of Export

  • To create the eReg Export, click on the Options menu next to the instrument you will be registering and select “Export”. The export file will download to your computer to your default download location on your computer.

  • Indicate whether you will create a new docket or attach to an existing docket and click OK.

  • Click “Choose File to Import” to obtain file. Navigate to the download location of the eReg file on your computer. Unless you have selected another location, this will be the default download location on your computer.

  • Once the file has been uploaded, click “Create”.

  • Your upload will then be added to the processing queue.

Existing Mortgages

  • For the Registration Number to be entered into the export, it needs to be associated with an Existing Mortgage. To do this go to Actions > Existing Mortgages.

  • Click +Add.

  • To indicate the Charge will be discharged, select the relevant number and select the bank and select +Add to contract.
