Can I save my email signature in Prolegis? How do I use it?
Sending email directly from Prolegis saves time. You can now save your email signature in Prolegis and insert it into your document with the click of a button.
Create an email signature
To create an email signature, go to the Profile in the top right hand corner of the screen.
Scroll to the bottom and create your signature. You can also copy and paste your signature here.
Click Save.

I already have a signature in Google or Outlook. How can I add that same signature to Prolegis?
To ensure your signature image displays correctly in Prolegis, you cannot simply copy and paste the visual image. Doing so often creates a "local" link (pointing to your computer) or a "temporary" link that will eventually expire or break.
Instead, you need a Direct Public URL. This is a permanent web link that any email app can use to "fetch" the image from the internet.
If you already have the image in your current signature and it is working perfectly:
-
Compose a New Email in your web browser (not the desktop app).
-
Highlight the entire email signature including the image.
-
Paste the entire email signature in Prolegis by following the instructions above.
Pro-Tips for Success
-
Image Size: Resize your image before uploading it. If you upload a 2000px logo and scale it down in the editor, the email will still have to load a massive file, which can trigger spam filters.
-
Alt Text: When the new app asks for "Alt Text," enter your name or company name. This shows up if the recipient has images blocked.
- Complex signatures may appear differently in the editor than when produced. Confirm the appearance of the signature using the preview tool in the editor.
Insert your email signature.
To insert your email signature, go into the document editor or the email window and click the icon in the bottom right corner of the editor ribbon.
The signature will be inserted at the bottom of the document.
