# Hiding Historical Title Registrations

## When historical titles are pulled via SPIN II into Prolegis, outdated or discharged historical registrations often populate into the matter data. Prolegis allows Alberta users to hide these registrations from the active file view. This ensures that only current, relevant encumbrances are exported into your document packages, while keeping the historical record accessible if needed.

### How to Hide Registrations on Title

1.Navigate to **Titles.**

2.Scroll down to the **Initial** title (or other title if needed) and **Click to View**.

 

3.Select the registrations that should be hidden. 

 

4\. Click **Toggle Hidden** to display or hide the hidden registrations.

 

💡 **Best Practice:** If you order an historical title, always double-check your active registrations list *before* generating your final document packages to ensure no historical or discharged mortgages are accidentally listed on your client's produced paperwork.
