Hiding Historical Title Registrations

When historical titles are pulled via SPIN II into Prolegis, outdated or discharged historical registrations often populate into the matter data. Prolegis allows Alberta users to hide these registrations from the active file view. This ensures that only current, relevant encumbrances are exported into your document packages, while keeping the historical record accessible if needed.

How to Hide Registrations on Title

1.Navigate to Titles.

2.Scroll down to the Initial title (or other title if needed) and Click to View.
 
3.Select the registrations that should be hidden. 
 
4. Click Toggle Hidden to display or hide the hidden registrations.
 
💡 Best Practice: If you order an historical title, always double-check your active registrations list before generating your final document packages to ensure no historical or discharged mortgages are accidentally listed on your client's produced paperwork.
