How do I prepare non-FCT LLC mortgages in Prolegis?

Prolegis understands PDFs. If it's seen a PDF before, it will automatically add information to that PDF for you. If it hasn't seen it before, Prolegis Works for you as a tool to complete a PDF.

Prepare Lender Documents - Unique Steps 

The following applies to ALL PDFs completed by the PDF Filler

  1. Select how you would like the PDF filled. If either you or Prolegis have seen the PDF before, you can select a template of how the PDF will be filled. For example, create a template when there are 3 signers or when dower applies.

  2. See how the template will look with the applied template or click to edit the template

  3. Click Generate Document to apply the template to the PDF.

If editing the template

  1. Change the template you are editing (if there are multiple templates)

  2. Type to search for information in Prolegis. As you type, the fields that are applicable to your search prompt will automatically appear below the field search bar. Drag and drop fields from this menu onto the template

  3. A visual representation of the template.

  4. Options for formatting the fields you place on the template. Change the font type, size and colour, and select options that allow you to resize the field boxes.

  5. Click continue to return to the Generate PDF screen. NOTE Continue does not save the PDF, you need to click Continue then select how the PDF will be generated to save the work completed on the PDF.

Create, Overwrite and Generate a Document

  1. If you’ve added new fields to a PDF and would like to create a template for future use, click Create new template and insert a template name

  2. If you’ve modified an existing template and want to save the changes, click Overwrite Firm Template

  3. If you are happy with field placement and do not need to save as a template for future use or the template is already working as expected, click Generate document only (this is the default option)

  4. Click Generate document to create the template (if applicable) and produce the PDF.
