How to print a copy of an encumbrance / registration? (Alberta)

If you have associated a PDF copy of an encumbrance to the record of the registration in Prolegis, you can access that PDF.

To access the general registration list, go to the Real Estate menu to the left of the screen.  Click Registrations.  Search for the encumbrance and click on the icon to the right of the searched for registration.

To access an encumbrance from the matter, navigate to the Titles action from the Actions menu.  Open the desired version of the title (Initial, At Close, etc.).  Scroll to the desired encumbrance and click on the link (in the image below the link is 771147064.pdf) to download the document.

If you have not yet ordered the PDF version of the encumbrance, go to the matter and click the Registrations button beneath the legal description.

Enter your SPIN II credentials to search for registrations.

Click on the desired caveats, enter your SPIN II credentials and click Order to import the documents to your Prolegis account.
