Managing the Realaml Integration in Prolegis
Prolegis now integrates directly with Realaml, a global leader in automated Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance.
This integration bridges your Prolegis intake and client database with Realaml’s identity verification suite. With a single click, you can initiate a secure identity check. Once complete, all client data, identity metrics, and official compliance reports flow automatically back into Prolegis—eliminating duplicate data entry and protecting your firm against identity fraud.

Key Benefits & Features
1. One-Click Verification Initiations
There is no need to log into an external portal, download templates, or manually send instructions. You can trigger an ID verification directly from the client’s file inside Prolegis with a single click.
2. Effortless Client Onboarding
Realaml is built for ultimate ease of use.
- Universal Access: Clients can complete their verification securely on any smartphone or desktop web browser, anytime and anywhere.
- Intuitive Workflow: Guided prompts walk the client through capturing their ID and performing a facial scan, completing the entire process in seconds.
- Global Scope: Realaml covers more than 10,000 global ID documents across 30+ countries, making it simple to onboard domestic or international clients.
3. Autopopulation of ID & Compliance Forms
When a client completes their check, the Realaml verification report and biometric data sync directly back to Prolegis. The software extracts the verified data to automatically populate ID verification forms for both your firm records and closing lenders (such as FCT's Lender Lawyer Connect platform), cutting down administrative overhead and removing transcription errors.
4. Advanced Fraud & Compliance Protection
The integration employs enterprise-grade artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze document integrity. It cross-references clients against thousands of global PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) and Sanctions watchlists while scanning for sophisticated digital manipulations, deepfakes, and presentation attacks.
How It Works
Initiating a Request
- Open the relevant matter file within Prolegis and navigate to the Seller/Buyer (purchase or sale) or Owner (mortgage) tab.
- Scroll down to the Realaml section and click the Order button.
- Select the required verification type for that contact and send. The client will immediately receive an automated, secure link via email or text message to complete their check.
Reviewing Results
Once the client submits their documentation, the status updates in real time within Prolegis (on page refresh). The complete PDF verification report is saved directly to the matter's Document tab, and the validated data points (Legal Name, Date of Birth, Address, ID Document Numbers, and more) are mapped straight into the ID verification fields.
FaceMatch vs. FaceIDV: Feature Breakdowns & PricingThe integration includes two tiers of visual identity confirmation to help balance your everyday workflow needs with enhanced regulatory or lender compliance.
FaceMatch (Included / Unlimited)
- What it is: A standard, automated comparison that matches the portrait photo on the submitted government ID document against a live selfie taken by the client during intake.
- Cost: Unlimited checks. You can run as many FaceMatch checks as your file requires per matter at no additional cost.
FaceIDV (Upcharge Feature)
- What it is: Enhanced Identity Verification (IDV). This tier utilizes advanced biometric liveness testing certified to strict international standards (NIST Level 2 ISO 30107-3). It actively determines whether the individual is physically present or attempting to spoof the camera using a high-resolution photo, digital screen display, or deepfake video overlay.
- Cost: Pay-per-use upcharge. This premium level of forensic security incurs an additional one time fee, itemized transparently on your client's account and your monthly billing invoice.
💡 Pro Tip
Use FaceMatch as your default baseline for everyday file intake. For high-risk transactions, corporate clients with complex ownership structures, or specific institutional lender directives that demand certified biometric liveness checks, elevate the request to FaceIDV.
