Monitoring Titles in Prolegis (Alberta)
TitleProtect provides automated, proactive title tracking for your real estate matters by running a daily check of the Pending Registration Queue at Land Titles. By monitoring public records every single day, TitleProtect helps your firm identify potential title issues early enough to act on them—long before they derail a transaction.
The Daily Title Monitoring Report
TitleProtect generates a daily email digest that highlights critical changes across all tracked titles in your practice. Users can opt in to receive this report directly in their inbox to stay informed on key transaction milestones and risks.
The daily report delivers updates across four core categories:
| Report Section | Operational Value |
| Closings Today | Functions as an automated DRR Search. Instantly check if there are any pending registrations on titles scheduled to close today before releasing funds. |
| New Instruments | Serves as an early warning system for new filings entering the Pending Registration Queue. Catch adverse filings—such as a Certificate of Lis Pendens or unexpected lien—the exact day they enter the queue. |
| Registered Today | Provides confirmation when your submitted instruments (transfers, mortgages, discharges) are officially registered, streamlining your post-closing reporting workflows. |
| Pending Today | Displays a complete inventory of every title currently being monitored by TitleProtect on your firm's behalf. |
Only titles that have title monitoring enabled will show up on the Daily Report
