Tracking Your Work with the Data Entry Progress Tool
To help you stay organized, Prolegis includes a Data Entry Progress Tool. This feature allows you to visually track the completion status of every data entry layout.
How It Works
Every data entry screen within your file features a status toggle located at the top of the workspace. You can manually update this toggle to reflect your current progress on that specific section.

1. Choose Your Status
The toggle provides three distinct options to help you organize your workflow:
- Not Started: The default state for any new layout, indicating no data has been entered or verified yet.
- In Progress: Perfect for when you have entered some information but are still waiting on outstanding details or internal confirmation.
- Finished: Signals that all required fields for this specific layout are complete, accurate, and ready to go.
2. Monitor Progress via the Menu Tab
The moment you select a status from the toggle, the main menu tab for that specific data entry layout updates instantly.

This visual indicator on the menu tab allows you to see the exact health and progress of the entire file at a single glance, without having to click into every individual screen to check your work.
💡 Pro-Tip for Teams
If you share file management duties with other conveyancers or assistants in your firm, use the In Progress status as a clear flag for items that still need a second look or are waiting on external details, ensuring no duplicate work or missed steps.
